Program Manager
What NCPI needs:
NCPI is seeking a “superstar” to join our team as a Program Manager. This full-time, salaried team member will manage NCPI national delivery programs. Primary responsibilities will include: managing project deliverables and timelines; scheduling, coordinating, and promoting in-person course deliverables (and other in-person events) nationwide; coordinating instructors, subject matter experts, and consultants; contributing content; and more. The Program Manager will also provide direct instruction and facilitation, working as part of an instructional delivery team. Additionally, this position requires technical skills to support the following: required work in learning management systems (i.e. posting courses on a training calendar, registration, reporting, etc.); digital communications, content, and assisting with development and dissemination of course promotional materials; instructional technology; and more. Additional responsibilities include working closely with law enforcement and community members nationwide, clients, NCPI team members, and vendors to deliver and support public safety training and resources nationwide. This team member must have exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, an ability to learn and master a variety of technologies, and a natural ability to communicate easily with staff and external stakeholders both verbally and in writing.

- Very strong organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; attention to detail is critical
- Excellent presentation/facilitation/instruction skills
- Proven project management experience (training delivery experience preferred)

- Ability to effectively utilize project management solutions, and general database programs
- Ability to be both self-directed and work well as part of a team
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (Master’s degree preferred)

Learning Technology Specialist
What NCPI needs: NCPI is seeking a “superstar” to join our team as a Learning Technology Specialist. This full-time, salaried team member will use technical knowledge to support several of NCPI’s development and delivery projects. This person will support learning management systems, maintain online courses (including graphics, media, digital resources, and materials), and contribute to the maintenance and expansion of multiple websites, and more. The role includes continuous improvement of user experience, and data collection, analysis, and reporting. Additional responsibilities include working closely with external system users, clients, NCPI team members, and vendors to deliver and support public safety training and resources nationwide. This team member must have exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, an ability to learn and master a variety of technologies, and a natural ability to communicate easily with non-technical staff and external stakeholders both verbally and in writing.

First, do you have the basic requirements?
- Learning Technology knowledge in general, and Learning Management System administration (specifically Moodle if possible), including all aspects of day-to-day operations, user experience fundamentals, generating efficient/creative solutions to complex problems, and proficiency in completing research, testing/trials, troubleshooting, and documentation to seek improved solutions
- Knowledge of (and implementation experience in) data integrity processes, rules, standards to ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency, and reliability of NCPI data
- Ability to effectively utilize customer service software, project management solutions, and general database programs
- Understanding of accessibility requirements to apply Section 508 compliance and WCAG success criteria to web-based content
- Ability to be both self-directed and work well as part of a team
